The Hack The Box team is thrilled to announce that HTB Academy is now mapped to the industry-recognized NIST NICE framework!
Students can now be laser-focused in their studying since HTB Academy modules have been mapped to NICE Tasks, Knowledge, and Skills. In addition, students can now track their skill and work-role progression with the introduction of a NIST NICE-based Skill Progress Mapping feature directly within the platform.
The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) developed the National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE) Framework to help alleviate the obstacles faced by many candidates seeking cybersecurity roles. The framework was also designed to minimize the struggles encountered by employers looking to hire qualified job candidates. The framework consists of a set of guidelines and best practices to follow to help job seekers focus their education on the specific skills, and knowledge employers are looking for in cybersecurity professionals.
HTB has aligned our training with the below categories recognized by the NIST NICE Framework:
Securely provision
Operate and maintain
Oversee and govern
Protect and defend
Analyze
Collect and operate
Investigate
By aligning HTB training with industry-recognized skills and role requirements, HTB is helping corporate teams identify and hire qualified candidates, matching skills to operational needs, and improving employee retention while also helping individual cybersecurity professionals kickstart or accelerate their careers with training aligned with job roles.
